West Magnolia Trailhead
Forest Service trailhead south of Nederland for about eight miles of singletrack for hiking, biking and riding, with free first-come designated campsites along the Forest roads.
West Magnolia Trailhead, on the Forest Service’s Boulder Ranger District, reaches about eight miles of singletrack for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding west of the Peak to Peak Highway, plus about eight miles of Forest roads open seasonally to motorized and non-motorized use. It sits at 8,900 feet.
Camping is allowed only in the designated sites along the roads, free and first-come, first-served. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the singletrack, bikes must stay on designated roads and trails, and dogs must be on a hand-held leash. There are no restrooms.
