The Carousel of Happiness is a nonprofit arts and culture organization running a restored 1910 Looff carousel whose animals were hand-carved by Scott Harrison over 26 years, turning to a 1913 Wurlitzer band organ. It is in the Caribou Village Shopping Center on Lakeview Drive, just off Highway 119.
Rides are $3, infants under 9 months ride free, and a 10-ride punch card is $25; the last ride is at 4:45 pm. Upstairs is a puppet theater with a window onto the carousel’s gears. Pets are not allowed in the building. The carousel says it is open year-round with days that vary by season; the hours here are the regular hours it posts.
