The Carousel of Happiness’s annual fundraiser, this year neon-themed: a cocktail hour and dinner with Ben Melius playing acoustic sets while Brent Collin Bishop paints live, then door prizes through the evening, a paddle raise, rides on the hand-carved carousel, and dancing around it with DJ MyKym and DJ Blue until 11. The money goes to the Carousel’s community programs and to a new fire-suppression system for the building.
General admission is $100 and includes dinner, two drink tickets, carousel rides and one entry in the door-prize drawings. VIP is $150, limited to ten, with a private lounge and two entries. Green Ride is running a free shuttle from the Boulder Justice Center to Nederland and back for the night. Tickets are on the Carousel’s gala page.
