An hour at the Nederland Mining Museum on the Cash Mine, a gold-silver telluride mine in the Gold Hill district whose claim was staked in 1872: its history, its third-level workings and milling, and the mineralogy of its ore under the microscope. Run by Boulder County Parks & Open Space for up to 25 people; registration is required.
